Changemaker Central is taking cues from Steve Jobs for its upcoming bi-annual ASU Startup Summit. This year’s theme is “All things design” – inspired by Steve Jobs’ 2005 Commencement Speech delivered at Stanford University.
Summit organizers believe that “creativity and design thinking are important elements of an entrepreneurial mindset whether you are a professional designer or a creative thinker.” Participants will be able to network with fellow student entrepreneurs, meet with community experts, attend workshops, practice their pitch, or join an existing team.
Through our keynote and various workshops, we intend to inculcate design thinking in our attendees. In addition to these, we also have a well planned networking session, “Hear from a peer” mentoring session, Venture Devils and other program info sessions and finally an Open Pitch contest (to win up to $250).
The ASU Startup Summit is open to both students and community members.
