ASU Law Student Heads to UN for WE Empower Challenge

The WE Empower Challenge is a competition for women entrepreneurs with ideas that advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Student judges, including Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and LST Certificate student Ember Van Vranken, sent five winning competitors to the 2018 UN Global Engagement Summit in New York.

The five winning women entrepreneurs include:

Van Vranken got the opportunity to attend the UN Global Engagement Summit, accompanied by Faculty Fellow Diana Bowman, and shadow the five entrepreneurs through five days of bootcamps, talks, pitch competitions, and award galas.
