Legal Hackathon Comes to ASU Law: Register Now!

The Center for Law, Science and Innovation is hosting the Global Legal Hackathon on February 22-24, 2019 at the Beus Center for Law and Society in downtown Phoenix. The hackathon is focused on improving the legal industry globally through the rapid development of technology solutions.

This event includes law schools, firms, technology companies, governments, and legal service providers to bring the best thinkers and legal practitioners together to develop new ideas that can be used in the legal industry today. The hackathon will be held simultaneously in nearly 50 host cities in more than 20 countries-including right here inĀ Phoenix!

During the event, teams will form, generate ideas, and begin creating technology-based legal solutions. At the end of the weekend, teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of judges. One winning team will be chosen from each location and the winning teams will move on to the next round, the Virtual Semi-Finals, held in March. Over 600 teams all around the world are expected to compete.

Registration is now open for participants! Computer science and law students, lawyers, seasoned and novice developers, IT professionals, and entrepreneurs are all encouraged to compete.
