Answer: The findings of Stan Skafidas et. al., essentially that a simple genetic test, via a saliva sample, could predict autism from birth, have been rebutted by another group of researchers whose analysis indicates that there is no clear correlation between autism and the set of genetic markers or bio-pathways established by Skafidas and his team.
