Tuesday Triple Trivia Tease for May 13, 2014

3 Questions. 3 Hints. 3 Answers. Every Tuesday.

1. What recent motion to marry, if affirmed, might have resulted in an iPhone, keyboard and GPS dressed up as bridesmaids?

Hint:

Answer: denied!  A motion to marry a porn-filled laptop was recently denied by a judge in Florida.  The motion was filed by a man protesting same-sex marriage, which is often likened (by those opposing homosexual unions) to relationships with objects or other disgraceful acts.   Where was Supreme Court Justice Scalia when this guy obviously needed him?  Read more here.

2.  What recent example of a positive is, in fact, generating a negative reaction?

Hint:

Answer: trick and trap. Positive pregnancy tests are now available for purchase online.  Boyfriends beware.  Read the details here.

3. What new product may stump detectives and put a crimp in criminal investigations?

Hint:

Answer: a new DNA-erasing sanitizer is expected to be available to consumers this coming June.   Eliminating the need for gloves when it’s 95 degrees outside, it’s another notch in the belt of genetic privacy advocates.  Read about the sanitizer’s potential beneficial uses here.
