Marchant Speaks at Prestigious NAS International Summit on Human Gene Editing

Gary Marchant, ASU Regents’ Professor of Law and Director of the Center‘s GET Program, recently presented at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine International Summit on Human Gene Editing.  His presentation on international governance is available here.  Marchant is also a member of the National Academies Consensus Study committee on gene editing through which “the Academies will work to achieve a comprehensive understanding of human gene editing and its implications in order to help guide researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and the public, here and around the world.”  A report is due out next year.
