Hint:
Answer: getting your life hacked, including delivery of unwanted pizzas. As a result of mischievous hacking, one Illinois family experienced the following: “[b]omb threats have been made under their names. Police cars and fire trucks have arrived at their house in the middle of the night to respond to fake hostage calls. Their email and social media accounts have been hacked, and used to bring ruin to their social lives. They’ve lost jobs, friends, and relationships. They’ve developed chronic anxiety and other psychological problems.” All, it appears, because the family’s son, himself a hacker, made a few enemies in hacker-world. 3. It used to just be birds. What’s now getting in the way of aircraft — in addition to the geese?
Hint:
Answer: according to a new study, there were 327 close encounters between 2013 and 2015 among drones and aircraft in the U.S. Alarmingly, in 28 of those encounters, the aircraft pilot maneuvered to avoid colliding with a drone. Drone users should be aware of use restrictions or “no drone zones” and established registration requirements. Read more about the study here.
