Gary Marchant Quoted in Update on Negligence Suit

Gary Marchant, ASU Law Professor and Faculty Director of LSI’s GET Program, was recently quoted in an article regarding a negligence suit brought against a clinical laboratory and its subsidiary.

The lawsuit alleges that failure to follow federal lab regulations and appropriately classify a particular seizure-causing genetic mutation, resulted in a young boy receiving treatment that apparently worsened his condition and ultimately led to his death.  Read more here.
