Answer: CLE ( “key” in French) requirements in Florida have been amped up to include three hours of technology-related courses.  The mandated time is the bare minimum over a three-year cycle and one wonders whether it is sufficient.  Given the speed of technological advances accompanied by novel legal issues, one hour per year hardly seems adequate to educate lawyers to the degree required to efficiently navigate today’s techno-scientific environment.  The new bar association rule, however, gets more teeth from additional provisions and amendments that recognize the importance of technological understanding in practice.  Read the details here.

Hint:

Answer: two Canadian brothers have created a virtual reality Hospital of Horror that has users running for their lives.  The hospital is a simple room,  “[i]t looks like a big empty five by five room with grey tiles on the floor, [b]ut when you’re wearing the headset, it’s a completely different virtual world.”  The screams are blood-curdling despite user awareness that it is just a game and just a room.  Read the story here.
