Smart City Hack Finale: Friday (10/13)

Put this on your calendar! The Institute for Digital Progress (iDP) is holding the Smart City Hack 2017 Finale this Friday (Oct. 13).

Smart City Hack is a competition where 7 finalists will pitch Smart City/Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to pressing civic challenges. The audienceĀ at Friday’s event (that could be you!) will get to vote and help pick a winner.

iDP’s mission is to create better, smarter, and more sustainable cities through the adoption and implementation of Smart City and IoT technology. iDP engages entrepreneurs and business leaders and challenges them to develop civic technology to address urban issues, build smarter cities, and improve the quality of life for all residents.

Dominic Papa, Founder and Executive Director of iDP (as well as, Center Scholar and 2L at ASU College of Law!), is excited to have the brightest tech minds (students, entrepreneurs, partners) in the local community attend and play a part in picking a winner.
