Light Up The Future and Attend the Desert Goes Digital Event Tomorrow!

With over 1 million Arizonans without internet, there has been an increased focus on the need for statewide access. The Institute for Digital Progress, Arizona State University, Arizona  Commerce Authority and Sun Corridor Network, along with local leaders and activists collaborated to create the “Lighting Up the Future – The Desert Goes Digital,” initiative with the goal of solving the broadband gap in Arizona. 

The first event for the initiative is on May 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m, an official kick-off and overview of the “Lighting Up the Future” vision document — the big, bold vision for the future of broadband and digital equity for all Arizonans.
